ASVAB Testing
What is it used for:
Starting a career in the military requires preparation, unwavering dedication and a strong knowledge base. All branches of the military including the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, National Guard, and Coast Guard use the ASVAB to gauge your knowledge and skills in key areas for placement. Take the free test at Buena Regional High or set up a meeting with a local recruiter to be prepared for the challenges that the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) presents and find out what careers the military can assist you with.

NJGPA / NJSLA
New Jersey Graduation Proficiency Assessment (NJGPA)
The NJGPA is a graduation assessment beginning with the class of 2024. Students must pass this assessment, or meet the criteria in another pathway, in order to receive their high school diploma.

Many colleges consider SAT scores as part of their holistic admission and placement decisions, and your score is a valid way to show what you've learned. Most juniors take their first SAT in the spring, and many take it again in the fall of their senior year to improve their score. It can help you keep your college options open, demonstrate your unique strengths, and even qualify for scholarships.
